Champion for the Taxpayer: 

Jason has a record of cutting taxes and eliminating debt.  As a Freeholder, now called County Commissioner, Jason has consistently cut taxes.  The current budget ispends 10% less than the county budget when he started in government over 13 years ago.  Not only that, but 13 years ago county debt was over 17 Million dollars.  Now, county debt will be eliminated in July 2025.  Jason did this by approving a resolution that required “Voter Approved Bonding” and by following a Pay As You Go philosophy for budgeting. This is the kind of fiscal responsibility Jason wants to bring to Trenton to put a stop to liberal spending and out of control debt.

Friend of the Middle Class Worker: 

As the son of a Police Officer father who worked side jobs as a carpenter and Catholic School teacher mother, Jason knows what it is like to have to work hard to make ends meet.  Jason supported our communities and businesses when Governor Murphy instituted his draconian restrictions on businesses during Covid.  Jason opposed Trenton’s restrictions on our successful breweries that help our entire business community.  Finally, Jason opposed Governor Murphy’s Sanctuary State laws that protect illegal immigrants and make New Jersey a safe haven for criminals.

Parental Advocate and Pro Life Supporter: 

Jason proudly stood with parents when they asked him to reject New Jersey's Health and Physical Education Standards in our schools that indoctrinate our children into Trenton’s liberal agenda and taking away from critical learning time.  Jason created a Parental Right’s group to advocate on behalf of parents and find ways to fight back on programs that our community doesn’t agree with. 

Jason also stood with Pro-Life leaders to reject Governor Murphy’s Reproductive Freedom Act.  These laws made New Jersey a safe haven for human traffickers, set unbelievably liberal and unsafe policies on abortion, and ignored conservative values.  This earned Jason the “New Jersey Right to Life” endorsement in his 2022 election. 

 

Standing Up for our Second Amendment Rights and Protecting our Communities: 

Jason stands up for our constitutional right to protect ourselves and our families.  Jason has rejected Trenton’s unconstitutional restrictions on our 2nd Amendment Rights.  Jason pushed the Judiciary to provide concealed carry permits when Trenton was slowing down the process for our law abiding residents.  Working with the Judges and Prosecutor, permits that had been held up began to be released. 

 

Jason also supported public safety by provided additional funding to law enforcement to create a Child Sex Assault team that has been successful in catching our worst predators. Finally, Jason created and chaired an Opioid Task Force to get drugs off our streets and determine how to best help those who are fighting addiction.
